This portrait was the first animal I had painted in about 3 years. I made this as a last minute gift for the artists in wonderland event being held in Michigan.
Originally I was just going to go and have everyone sign my sketchbook but I last minute decided I wanted to make Tenhundred and his family a gift and I also wanted to be able to say my favorite artist has something that I made. I have been watching him for roughly 5-6 years as of 2024. His videos helped me get up and create on bad mental health days and days that I was just too tired. I’ve struggled with art block as well and his crazy characters helped boost my imagination like you wouldn’t believe.
He and his wife loved this portrait and the artists in wonderland event was unforgettable.
This painting was done entirely in acrylic and is on an 11x14 oval canvas.
