Daisy

This painting is a first for me, I haven’t done a memorial piece until now. This was commissioned by a dear friend and she emphasized that she wanted his curly whiskers included.

There was something bittersweet about working on this painting. Knowing that this little guy was no longer with us had me feeling very sorrowful but also drove me to do my best so the results were accurate to their loved one.

This painting was done in acrylic and is a 12 x 12 inch square canvas.
