Max is actually a part of my personal family. This painting was done for my grandparents. They’re big into motorcycles and even though I tried as hard as I could, I couldn’t get a helmet to look good on them while drafting this painting. So naturally I decided to move to a bandana and sunglasses.

He was a bit of a challenge due to how fluffy he is. This guys bone structure is hidden behind fluff and very strategic grooming so I was doing alot of guess work and just kept revising until I was happy with him.

This portrait is all acrylic and an 8 x 11 oval canvas.
