Frankie

This is another painting for a dear friend of mine. So if you could guess, I know this little lady personally. She is the chunkiest cats that I have worked on. I really enjoyed finally getting to work on a grey animal. I have a soft spot especially for grey cats.
There were a few challenges while working on Frankie, mostly with making sure she was coming up as she was supposed to with lightness but still having enough contrast that her features weren’t being hidden. I actually had more challenges with the grey than I did with the white. Either way though, I’m very happy with how she turned out and my friends loved her.
